The Little Canada Recreation Association (LCRA) will accept funding requests for consideration from organizations, associations, groups, or individuals, which serve Little Canada youth residents and youth resident recreational activities. Funds are to be provided for the detailed purpose as listed on the application and are to be used specifically for the purpose of capital improvements, financial hardships, and/or special projects related to Little Canada youth recreational activities.
Organizations, associations, groups, or individuals making funding requests to the LCRA are expected to submit requests to other funding organizations in an effort to lessen the commitment of the LCRA.
Funding request that provide benefits to a greater number of Little Canada youth residents will be given priority consideration.
When requesting funds, a representative of the organization, association, group, or the individual, may be required to attend the LCRA membership meeting to present information and answer any questions the membership may have. The LCRA meets in the evening on the second Tuesday of every month.
The application must be completed and submitted prior to the first day of the month to be included on that month’s meeting agenda.
All Funding request groups will be asked to help at one of our events. Every $5000 asked - your group will be asked to cover one shift (2-3 hours) at Canadian Days or the Ice Fishing Contest concession stand. If shifts are not covered; future request will not be evaluated
